Bart Vermeer has an extensive background in project management and business consulting in the marine terminal industry. With more than 20 years’ experience in the field, his expertise involves strategic terminal planning, port and terminal development, specifications, and performance for automated equipment, as well as operational analysis, terminal optimization, and equipment implementation.

Bart’s work has taken him to project sites throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle-East, Asia, and Africa. Before joining Moffatt & Nichol, Bart was a project manager of operations at APM Terminals, serving on its Maasvlakte II container terminal development project.
