Short Course: Planning, Design, and Implementation of Automated Terminals

This short course will present a comprehensive discussion on the subject of container handling automation and the planning, design, and implementation of automated terminals. As the challenges associated with port development evolve, we have heard the same questions everywhere we go:

In the past several years, the Moffatt & Nichol port planning group has led a team of planners, designers, and operations engineers in the development of several automated container terminal projects in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Key members of our port planning group will share their experiences and offer insights into the goals, achievements, and challenges of planning and implementing automated terminals. This four-hour course will provide attendees with hands-on experience by providing an actual automated terminal development process.
