Scott McCoy, PE, has 39 years of experience as a structural engineer designing waterfront infrastructure for both private and government clients. He has led the design and construction of major port facilities including, several liquid bulk docks, container wharves, yards and intermodal facilities, automobile unloading berths and associated processing buildings, dry-bulk unloading facilities and associated conveyance, roll-on roll-off facilities, entrance and exit facilities including security, communication, and weighing for both design-bid-build delivery and design-build delivery. He has served as team quality control manager and has provided structural quality control for several waterfront designs. He has contributed to all types of project delivery including design-build, fast track, and design-bid-build projects overseeing all phases: scope development, design criteria, design, bidding services, and construction services.
