Mark Smallridge, PE, C.Eng. - President of Nigel Nixon and Partners, Inc.
Mark has more than forty years of experience in pavement analysis, design, construction and investigation, and has specialized in heavy duty pavements for ports, intermodal yards and other heavy industries. He has been involved in numerous port projects in the US, Europe and around the world, and has used many different conventional and innovative pavement materials to best suit local conditions. He has also worked with Port equipment manufacturers regarding wheel/pavement interaction. Mark has participated in the preparation of internationally adopted port pavement design guides including those by The British Ports Association and PIANC. Mark has also worked on several prestigious architectural projects in the US where decorative paving is used in high traffic or sensitive locations. Mark lives in the Dallas metroplex in North Texas.
