Charlie Roberts is President of Childs Engineering Corporation, he is a Professional Engineer, Board Certified Port Engineer, and Commercial Diver. Mr. Roberts has focused his entire career around waterfront structures. Throughout his career he has conducted waterfront inspections, designed repairs and new structures, and provided construction oversight all over the United States and Worldwide. During work in Japan he really developed a passion for mooring hardware testing and since then has made it a goal to make it more accessible to waterfront owners to help make the working waterfront a safer place to be. Mr Roberts is also the Port Engineering Trustee for the Academy of Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Navigation Engineers, an active member of the COPRI Ports and Harbors Committee, and past president of the COPRI Boston Chapter.
