Shannon Kinsella is a waterfront engineer with 30 years’ experience in planning, permitting, and designing waterfront facilities. Her design projects include marinas, boat ramps, waterfront parks, piers, and commercial facilities, including design of a National Marina of the Year. She is a Principal at the civil engineering firm of Reid Middleton, in Everett, Washington. Shannon has degrees in Civil Engineering and Oceanography from the University of Washington and a Masters in Coastal Engineering from the University of Hawaii. She is a licensed professional engineer in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and California and a certified Project Management Professional. Shannon's interests outside of work also revolve around the water; swimming, sailing, beachcombing, and traveling to national and international waterfront cities.
