Sean Chapman is the Senior Vice President, co-owner, and Director of Engineering at Marine Solutions, Inc. With over 25 years of experience in the marine industry, Mr. Chapman played a pivotal role in establishing the company and founding its engineering services. A licensed engineer and certified commercial diver, he specializes in condition assessments, risk identification, hazard mitigation, asset management, and the design of facility repairs and new facilities. He has supported the U.S. Navy's waterfront facilities inspection program for over 20 years. Mr. Chapman earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville and has remained actively involved in industry advancements throughout his career. He has been a dedicated member of the ASCE COPRI Ports & Harbors Committee, contributing as a primary author for technical manuals that guide best practices in the field. With a deep commitment to marine infrastructure safety and innovation, Mr. Chapman continues to lead cutting-edge engineering solutions that enhance and protect critical waterfront facilities.
