Damon Blanchette, MS is the Principal Software Engineer at FTL Labs Corporation in Amherst, Massachusetts. Mr. Blanchette has developed fully-featured software applications with novel algorithms and custom-trained neural networks for the detection of parts and automated inspections for both the Air Force and the Navy. He has led SBIR projects from initial proposals to Phase I through Phase II and follow-on research and development. Mr. Blanchette’s expertise spans all aspects of R&D from novel research to algorithm implementation and user-facing applications, and includes technologies such as artificial intelligence, high-end graphics display, 3D data processing, photogrammetry, virtual and augmented reality, and physically accurate body tracking.
