Anthony Farmer, P.E. is the Waterfront and Coastal Engineering Criteria Manager for Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic. He has 20+ years of structural, waterfront, and tower engineering experience. He is involved in the design and construction of various types of facilities for the U.S. Navy and specializes in waterfront engineering. He serves as chair of the DoD Waterfront Working Group and NAVFAC waterfront community manager. Additionally, he is heavily involved in the Navy’s response to the impacts of sea level rise on coastal facilities. Anthony has BS and MS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
