Angel Palma started as an intern at the Port of Long Beach in 2011 and eventually promoted to its current position as a Senior Civil Engineer. Angel has over 13 years of experience as a civil engineer and construction manager and holds a Professional Engineer License (PE) and Certified Construction Manager Certification (CCM). Angel has worked in the $1.5 Billion Middle Harbor Program, one of the most technologically advanced and greenest cargo terminals in the world. In addition, Angel managed one of Ports great landmark, which was the construction of a new fire station building and boat bay structure to stage the new Fireboat No. 15’ Vigilance.’ His experience includes concrete pile installation, wharf deck and rock dike construction, contract change management procedures and contract negotiations. Angel holds a Master of Sciene in Civil Engineering from the California State University Fullerton and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the California State Polytechnic University Pomona.
