Robert Garrity, PE, holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. As the Director of Jacobs Engineer Dive Group, Robert is a distinguished principal engineer and senior project manager with over 27 years of extensive experience in inspecting and assessing waterfront structures. He has led structural design efforts for new pier constructions and spearheaded retrofit and rehabilitation projects. Robert has successfully managed large, multi-year on-call engineering programs and directed multidisciplinary teams for major shipyard design and construction services. His expertise extends to dredge engineering, including berth maintenance and deepening projects. Additionally, Robert is a certified diver with the Association of Diving Contractors International.
