Milind Desai is a Vice President at Jacobs, where he serves as the Ports and Maritime Leader for California. With over 30 years of experience, he has managed large and complex projects encompassing all aspects of port design and construction. His expertise includes terminal redevelopment, automated cargo terminals, zero-emission infrastructure, marine construction, seismic retrofits, bridges, and wharf upgrades. Milind has successfully delivered significant projects for the Port of Los Angeles, Port of Long Beach, and the US Navy. He holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Bombay, India. Milind is both a Registered Professional Engineer and a Registered Structural Engineer in the State of California
