Professional engineer and project manager with proven professional experience in the design of new and retrofit marine facilities. Project experience includes all aspects of marine structural design, including cruise and cargo facilities, navigation and vessel mooring and berthing systems, deep bulkhead walls, pile-supported piers, tieback earth retention systems, mooring structures, breasting/fendering systems, pavements, high-wind and seismic, soil/structure interaction, and corrosion.
Additionally, extensive building and industrial facility design experience, including low and high rise commercial, industrial and hospitality buildings, municipal and industrial facilities. His project experience includes water and wastewater treatment facilities, electrical buildings, tank foundations, low and high rise commercial and industrial buildings. He has a demonstrated proficiency in the design of water containment structures, pump stations, and buildings of reinforced concrete, masonry, structural steel, wood, aluminum, stainless steel, deep and shallow foundation systems, wind and seismic loading, flood design, durability, and corrosion, as well as the application of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering to develop soil-structure interaction solutions.
