Craig Lewis, PE, SE. Craig has over 30 years of experience with inspection, condition assessment, design and analysis of structural elements for marine and port infrastructure. He has extensive experience leading large, multidiscipline teams and past projects have included rehabilitation of existing waterfront facilities in addition to design of new maritime structures and other transportation related infrastructure. He has extensive experience leading large, multi-discipline teams and has broad knowledge of waterfront construction and environmental regulatory permitting. He has also managed local government projects that have required extensive public meetings and presentations to local commissions, councils and boards. His experience includes preliminary and final design of piers, wharves, bulkheads and mooring/berthing dolphins; condition assessment, load rating studies and rehabilitation/retrofit strategies for port and terminal facilities. Other experience includes feasibility and planning studies; environmental review; agency and public coordination and presentations; facilities program development and management; development of construction bid packages; Design-Build project management; staff management and development; marketing; and proposal development. He is currently GHD's Maritime & Coastal practice leader in the western United States.
