Brian Shaw, PE, SE is a senior Marine Structural & Geotechnical Engineer at Moffatt & Nichol. As both a geotechnical and structural engineer, he is a technical resource for problems involving deep foundations, earth retaining structures, global stability, and complex soil-structure interaction in general – especially cases with no standard engineering solution or methodology, where multidisciplinary understanding provides robust and practical results.

Brian is a project manager and design lead focused on waterfront development in the U.S. and internationally. Project experience includes port facilities for container handling, roll-on/roll-off cargo, and dry and liquid bulk products, in addition to flood control structures, offshore wind energy, marinas, urban waterfronts, and dry docks.
